ISIBA ART PROJECT EVENT - 143

Welcome to Vivace Youth Centre

Introducing the ISIBA Art Project, this is an annual programme which focuses on developing local artists by connecting them with well known, international & national artists. The programme also creates a platform for the artists to showcase their creative talents and art work. On the 16th April 2021, Vivace Youth Centre hosted their first ever ISIBA Art Project which was sponsored by the National Art Council. The ISIBA Art Project event was an Incorporation of artists who are in Performing arts (Music, Dance and Poetry) and visual art (Sculpture, Painting, Drawing, etc ). The theme for this year was Gender Based Violence, this was one of the ways to show how art can also contribute in advocating and help in addressing issues that are facing our communities.

“Be not afraid of greatness. Some are born great, Some achieve greatness, and others have greatness thrust upon them.”
